Steal Mahima's Chic Look

I love Mahima's outfit here. She's totally in style for fall with the monochromatic look (black is back!), and I like how she added a little fun to the outfit with layers of beaded jewelry. You can steal this look from Old Navy by pairing a long belted black cardigan with black capris or skinny jeans. Old Navy even has the ethnic jewelry to match. Wear a black camisole tank under the cardigan if you don't want to show too much cleavage.

Old Navy Belted Cardigan, $34.50

This necklace can be wrapped twice around your wrist to make a bracelet. Red Coral necklace, $9.99.

And let's not forget the lipstick. I've found the perfect nude lipstick to go with this outfit. It's called Nepal, by Vasanti Cosmetics. Use Vasanti lipliner in Nile with it, and top it off with Norweigan lip shine (also by Vasanti).

Hey chicmommy,
I love the look too...looks very doable! I was in India on a looong vacation and bought some beaded jewellery..maybe i can put it to good use this fall?
Will check out Vasanti.
And also, read your post on being tired, I sympathize with you. Li'l A is in school full time now though he is just 3 (decided i DESERVED it), now I have so much time on my hands dunno what to do. Anyway, give urself a break and maybe give urself a pedicure..that's always relaxing, right?

Hey orchid, you know unfortunately I accidentally deleted my post about being tired last night while trying to figure out what the hell is going on with my page and Blogger. It freezes, new updates don't show, images aren't loading, or are slow to load, posts don't post. I hate Blogger. I'd rewrite the post....but I'm too tired. I'm potty training the twins these days and I'm doing alot of accident clean-up. Forget the pedicure, all I want is a maid who will clean the house for me.

I use Vasanti TJ,it's the best. The creators used to work for MAC, and the products are high quality.

i'd been doing that (sorta... but using a wrap around ballet cardi and turkish jewellery) until i bought a maga cheap black dress in one of those super budget stores where its a bit like a jumble sale and left my bloody beloved cardi in the changing room never to be seen again.
basically swapped a $70 cardi for a $14 dress. boo hoo.

and the tattoo in the post below looks like a submarine to me. though that's sorta cool in a gross kinda way :)

Love the jewelry - the multi strand beaded necklaces and drop earrings. But I hate, hate, hate this Fall's trends of layered looks, skinny jeans and leggings. Argh..frumpville. I feel lumpy enough as it is post partum, granny cardigans aren't going to do me any favors. :)

I wish I had a personal stylist of my own to figure out what works for me. I'm so tired of getting it wrong all the time.
