Katie's Fake Bump

There's a show on Discovery Health Channel called "Birth Day". It shows real pregnant women giving birth to real babies. I wonder if Katie Holmes could do us all the honor of appearing on this show? Then she could finally put to rest all the rumours that her belly is actually a pillow. Judging from the photos of her that have surfaced in the past two days, I'm still not convinced she's actually pregnant.

Here's a picture of Katie yesterday. That clearly looks like a pillow. Standard size. Plus she shoved it up too high, her flat abs below are giving away the whole sham (pun intended). Photo source: Just Jared.

Here's a picture of Katie a couple days ago, with a very unusual bump. She really screwed up the pillow arrangment today. I have never seen a pregnant lady with a bump that was perpendicular to the floor.

Trent, from Pink is the New Blog, had the best explanation of why her bump looked so wrong this day. She stuffed a basketball under her shirt.

My favorite theory is that she was actually pregnant back in May and had the baby in January (she looked pretty miserable then) so, the October bump pictures that were said to be of her at 2-3 months (ha!) were real. But, Tom Cruise wants to milk the publicity for his movie and doesn't want to have people think he moved too quickly on getting Katie pregnant so, the pillow nonsense.

The weirdest thing is that over just a two day period, her bump went from protruding forward to going straight up and down. That doesn't happen to preganant women, the bump doesn't change that dramatically in two days. She's wearing the same shirt in both pics so why isn't the bump consistent?

And about maternity jeans. Earl Jeans is the only one I've heard of that can be worn under the belly, but you can't wear them in your third trimester because it is difficult to keep them up after the belly has gotten so huge. All pregnant women eventually resort to maternity jeans, there's no escaping it.

btw Chris, you always have the funniest links!

thats outrageous! i had no idea!!

but there really is NO WAY that that bump is real.

good lord those people are BARMEY.

however... i did wear normal jeans right up to the end... i held them together with safety pins! i HATED the way maternity stuff fitted over the bump (or rather didnt quite!)

LOL, people LOVE joking around about how it's not a real belly. I like the basketball picture and her belly really did look abnormal in the blue coat-ed one.
