If you've got some frosty lipsticks collecting dust in your makeup drawer, give them a second life by applying MAC Plushglass in Wildly Lush over them. It works on every skin tone and is perfect for taking the frost out of lipsticks like MAC "O" and Viva Glam IV. It's also good for toning down dark colored lipsticks, converting any shade you wore in the winter to a nice shade for summer.
I actually bought this a while ago, and the plumping effect does work. I don't know what they put in it to make your lips tingle and plump up, but your lips do look fuller about 10 minutes after you apply the gloss. For only $17.50, it's a nice way to sample the trend and give the lipsticks you already own a different look.

Mona, I don't think frosty lipsticks are out, but like bengali chick, I've got tons and I'm tired of the look for myself. The lady at the MAC counter was wearing this Wildly Lush Plushglass over Viva Glam IV and Velvetta lipliner. She was the one who told me frost is tired and the new look is slightly sheer and glossy color.
It really does work on women of every skin tone. The ladies behind the MAC counter were of all different skin color, from black to white, and all of them were wearing the same lipstick and plushglass combination (Viva Glam IV and Wildly Lush) and it suited everyone. The Velvetta lipliner is recommended for darker skin tones in case the Viva Glam IV is too pink for your taste, but fair skin tones can skip the liner.

Ok here is my mini problem. I have final exams coming up in 5 weeks. I have to dress professionally ie in a suit. I have a sort of dark greyish suit, with which i am going to wear a cream coloured shirt. I need to be very very comfortable as i have to rotate around stations talking to patients and examining them, so i have to feel as if i am in my pajamas...super comfy. So like......i am notoriously bad at picking shoes, and i just don't know what colour/style of shoe to wear with it!!!!!! Its really stressing me out cos not only do i have to find the perfect looking shoe, it has to be the perfect fitting shoe!!! arghhhh!!!

bee amma, for comfort shoes, my favorite brands are something by Clarks or Aerosoles. Don't buy them off the internet, go to the actual store and try them on to make sure they fit. The shoe should feel comfortable from the moment you put it on (don't think a shoe will fit better after you "break it in". If it doesn't fit you from day one, forget it and find one that does. Go up a shoe size if you need to.) Many shoes these days have cushioning built into the soles, so look for those, and stick to a low heel.
but I do advise you not wear a cream colored shirt with a dark gray suit. I'm not a big fan of this color combination. Go with a crisp white shirt, or if you want to add some color to the suit, wear a shirt in a lavender, blue, or fuschia color.
hey chic mommy thanks for the advice!! Actually i did buy a couple of crisp white shirts from reece to go with the suit....and then i found a random creme coloured one i wore with a black suit once upon a time and decided to use that for the last day (as there are 3 days worth of stations) and i didn't think it would go very well..it didnt look too bad, but you're right, the white ones do look way better.
Shoes from clarks are great, and i'm most definately going to be getting them from there, but my hugest hugest concern is what type, ie heels, no heels, pointy no pointy? I just don't have a clue! Im tall enough so wearing heels greater than half an inch make me feel stupid, and like i said comfort will mean confidence in this exam!! Just don't know what colour or style of shoe to wear :(
